March 4: D

Photo: San Francisco Bay, 2005

Rendezvous

With dignity, they dance
deliberate and oh so decent
in the dilapidated ballroom
once dense with decadent
dandies, dancing delicious
with desire, doomed by
passing decades,
dust in the wind.

This came from a little wordle of d-words and thoughts of a nearly abandoned old ballroom, that I have arbitrarily called the Rendezvous Ballroom (I believe the real Rendezvous burned down.)  The words in the wordle are: Dance, dilapidated, dignity, delicious, dense, desire, dandy, deliberate, decadent, decent

  1. Very clever, Peggy!! All the D words worked VERY well together in your own wordle.
